Same ol' same ol'

I know that I haven't posted in a while, but not much has happened that is post worthy. Life has been pretty similar. I feel like I do the same thing everyday. I wake up, feed Azlynn breakfast, play with her for a few hours (if it's nice we'll go on a walk), feed her lunch, put her down for a nap, get ready for work, go to work, get off work then work out for an hour, come home and go to sleep. See how boring....... I love it though because it is a pretty easy going life. I've been loosing weight and I've been so proud of myself. If only it was in by butt and thighs where I really need it, but it hasn't reached that point yet ;) I just need to make sure I don't get pregnant anytime soon so I can keep the weight loss momentum up! I'm still in need of a vacation soon. It has been way too long since I've been on one. I hung out with my mom and my sister a couple weekends ago and it was so much fun. It has been years since we've done it and I totally miss it. I will make sure that we do it more often now because I need good women in my life and what better people is there than your family. The family is going to the new mall in SLC this weekend which will be a lot of fun! Well what's going on with Tom you ask..... Well Tom is doing the same ol' thing too. He has been doing awesome at his job and so far he likes it a lot. He picked up a side job driving trucks at night, but that job is extremely unpredictable when he will actually do it. He's still playing his video games from time to time. His family has been visiting a lot lately and Tom loves hanging with his brothers. He needs some testosterone in his life! And now for Azlynn..... What to say about this little terror! She is growing so fast. She sure jibber jabbers a lot in her own language. She will fake laugh at anything that is on TV. She can boogy with the best of them and she inherited my monkey gene. She is constant entertainment for me and I for her. She loves to be outside and will try her hardest to reach the doorknob to escape to the great outdoors. She can throw a trantrum with the best of them (not the funnest moments for us). She will lick anything she see's and will randomly bite you without warning (we are working on that one). She loves to take her clothes off and she loves to be chased. She is such a sweet girl and I couldn't imagine life without her!!

My baby girl is now a toddler!!

Who decided this would happen so fast!! Azlynn is now a 1 year old! Geeze I still can't believe it. I love this little girl so much. She has grown up so much in the past year. She is now walking all over the place, she loves opening and closing doors (no smashed fingers yet), she is a chatter box in her own language, she has discovered the toilet paper roll (uh oh), and she started to point at things. I am excited for what this next year is going to bring. Now as for the rest of us, not much is new. We still have only 1 car, but we are adjusting to it slowly. Sometimes we forget to appreciate things until they are gone. Some friendships have been mended while others have fallen apart. We found out that we are going to have a nephew in June! My very first nephew!!  All in all things are pretty good. Life just gets so busy sometimes and I wish time would slow down a little. I am hoping to go in a vacation this year. I haven't been on any big vacations since I was first got pregnant with Azlynn so I am definitely in need of one. Well like usual I have a bunch of pictures of azzie bear.

2012 so far.....

Well 2012 has not come quietly in the Nicholas family!! One of the main inconveniences was that Tom was in an accident and totaled our Kia! This mainly sucks because I hate car shopping so much and I feel like we have done it a lot lately, but on the bright side we can get a really cheap car and lower our debt just a little bit more. Speaking of debt, Tom will be starting his second job soon so that we can pay off most of our debt! This will be such a relief when he starts and we are estimating to have most of our debt payed off in 6 months woop woop!! It will be so nice not to have to worry about that anymore and then with baby #2 (no I'm not pregnant) I can stay home. Also Tom's sister has moved in with us and it has been so much fun. It's nice to have someone to back me up when Tom is being a brat (hee hee) and she is someone to hang out with when Tom is playing video games!! I also feel like I have an extra set of hand when it comes to my wild child :)  Azlynn is now walking and she is perfecting it a little more every day. She still falls and walks like she's drunk, but she has the concept. She just needs to build some confidence in this new skill of hers. This little girl will be turning 1 in four weeks WOW! Time truly does fly buy. I need to really start planning birthday!! Her turning 1 also means she will be off formula which will be amazing!! This little girl loves food! She has to eat everything that I am eating haha. She is getting her 4 top front teeth and once those come in then she will be able to eat a lot more variety of food, but as of now she only eats stuff that dissolves quickly or really tiny bits of what I'm eating. She is the funniest little girl and she is starting to look like a toddler now and no longer like my little baby. Here is a video of her walking:

I was finally able to get a couple videos of Azlynn going crazy for her celebrity crush Jimmy Fallon! I think it is so funny how excited she gets. You really can't get the full affect if you don't see it in person, but you'll get the idea!!

Winter

The winter has been a very interesting season. Alzynn is getting smarter and bigger everyday. She is getting new interests and a lot of dislikes too. She has sprouted up over the last month, but she is still very petite. She loves people and she especially loves other kids. She never stops talking or moving!! She is keeping me very busy that is for sure. Other changes that are happening in our lives...... Tom's sister is moving in with us for a while because she got a job as a nurse in salt lake and so she is moving here from California! It will be stressful for her because her husband can't move here till may because he is still in school, but it will be an awesome opportunity for her!!  It will be nice having some of Tom's family so close especially because Azlynn will see them more. Christmas is coming up soon which I can't say that I am completely ready for it! I don't know where this year went. Soon it will be time for me to get pregnant again hahahaha!!!!! Christmas will be a great time to be with friends and family and to reflect on all the blessings we have been given this past year. I am excited for Azlynn to have her first Christmas and to get lots of fun books and toys. She absolutely loves Elmo and Jimmy Fallon hahaha! She loves anything that makes noise or has bright colors on it. She loves to dance, crawl, laugh, yell, jump, climb all over her mom and dad and she loves to chat it up with whoever or whatever will listen! She is going to be 1 in 2 months which I am sad and excited for! Sad for the obvious because she isn't going to be my little baby anymore, but excited because there will be so many new things that she will get to learn about and not to mention she will be off of formula woot woot!!! So Azlynn has been talking and moving in her sleep a lot lately and I was able to catch it on video. At the beginning of the video she is asleep then when I try to get my phone closer, I wake her up. It's the cutest thing ever!!!

Also on the days that I work I have the pleasure of seeing the sunset and there are nights where it's breath taking! Our new work building has the best views of the valley so here are some pictures that I took on different days of the beautiful sky.

My amazing husband has worked his butt off at work and it has finally paid off!! He just got promoted to a really great position that pays salary and gets health insurance! We haven't had insurance for 3 years now and it is the most uneasy feeling, but now we have it woop woop!! It especially feels good to know that Azlynn is covered so now she can get all her check ups done and I don't have to worry if she gets sick. On to different news...... Azlynn is growing so fast! She is coming up to a year old in 2 1/2 months, she will be walking soon and she is learning so much everyday! She is OBSESSED with sesame street and she also love Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (don't ask why she loves that one because I have no idea). She loves to eat, dance, scream, laugh and get into everything she can get her hands on. She loves Roxy, but I can't say that the feelings are totally mutual hahahaha!! I absolutely love this little girl!!!!
