Wisdom teeth removed!

So on Friday I finally had my wisdom teeth removed after over 3 years of dealing with them! I was super nervous to get them out because I hate the dentist. So I went in at 9am and checked in with the front desk and the lady told me I wasn't in the computer. WHAT!?!?! I made this appointment over a month ago! So after asking me a billion questions and treating me like I was lying about having an appointment they finally asked if I would come back at 11:20am. So I went home and watched a movie until I had to come back. Well when I came back they got me all numb and pulled all 3 of my teeth within 40 minutes! At least they did something right;) So I got back home and didn't feel too bad at this point, but my mouth was still numb. They prescribed me Loratab for the pain, but they made me really sick! I kept throwing up until Saturday afternoon then I started taking Percocet instead which made me feel a lot better. I've just been feeling really weak and tired now and sleeping sucks because if I lay on one side too long then my jaw will start to throb. A silver lining to the whole thing is that it's only a little while longer of dealing with pain then I won't have to worry about my wisdom teeth ever again!! Well other than that little adventure, not too much has been happening. I found out that my brother and sister in law are also having a boy! I figure now the wave of boys are coming to even out all the girls in our family. I've been hiking a lot with my parents and hanging out with my crazy little girl. Azlynn is learning new stuff every day! She loves numbers and letters. She can say ten, tiger, bye, a, e, t, s, p, mommy, daddy, no, outside, and sorry. It's fun now that she is learning to talk. Also whenever Azlynn sees a pic of any animals, she will growl because she thinks all animals growl. She fake laughs (which is hilarious) and she fake cries. She loves to dance, yell at the top of her lungs and climb on anything she can. Overall she is a wild and crazy mini me and I love it! She also isn't very affectionate (also from me) which makes her daddy really sad sometimes, but I'm ok with it. I have lots of pictures and videos to share so brace yourselves......

You can kind of see the bottom holes where my wisdom teeth were removed

She's a rock star!

Been a while

So I haven't blogged in a while, but nothing has really happened that is blog worthy. Well I will start back on Mother's Day....... All of us girls went to Mimi's Cafe for breakfast (which was delicious) then we all went shopping at the mall. It had been a really long time since all of us hung out together and I have missed it! I really want to try to get together at least every few months. Anyways, I also found out that my beautiful sister is pregnant YAY! She just found out she is having a boy which is the first boy in our family. I am really excited to have a nephew especially because we need some testosterone in this family haha! My sister and brother in law officially moved here to Utah! I never thought they would live here, but it's really nice to have them close by. Katrina is due anytime now with my other nephew (two nephews in one year, so cool)! Super excited to meet this little guy:) Tom and I made a little night away to Park City which was a nice little break from parenthood. We went to this delicious restaurant that had live country music (not my favorite music, but I can always appreciate peoples talents and passion for music). Then we met some really nice people at our hotel bar and chatted with them for a while. The next morning we went shopping at the outlets then went and saw the Avengers (amazing movie)! It was a simple trip, but it was exactly what I needed!  My mom and dad watched Azlynn and they survived the 24 hours with her!!

As for Azlynn.... Well I found out that I have a talent at jinxing myself when it comes to Azzie. I was telling my sis in law that we've never had to take Azzie to the doctors for any sickness and low and behold that night she ran a fever of 103 degrees. The next day it dropped a little, but it stuck around for 3 days. She didn't have any other symptoms so I didn't worry much until I called her doctor's office. Well they were worried because she didn't have any other symptoms so they wanted us to bring her in. So we brought her in and they did some invasive tests and looked her over and they just decided she had caught a virus. Well we found out she had Roseola which is common for kids under 3. Well in my mind since they didn't give her any medicine and she fought it off on her own, we still have had a dang healthy child especially considering all the things this kid puts in her mouth haha! Another thing that I jinxed myself with was that I have been wondering when she was going to get more teeth and I had been talking about it for a few weeks then I noticed she had a molar coming in. Well 1 molar turned into 3 and then that turned into 3 molars and 2 front teeth. Wowza 5 teeth coming in at the same time! Geeze I guess I spoke too soon. Well luckily she's not a very fussy teether so it hasn't been bad. Well anyways, Azlynn now will dance for me if you sing the dance song that I made up. It's super cute. She is still in love with Jimmy Fallon and she now loves the show Yo gabba gabba. I am learning to speak her language which is super hard, but I'm pretty sure she can say outside, what's that, no and juice. Again it is in her own language so I could be completely wrong haha. She is getting smarter everyday and she is now becoming very particular with what she likes and dislikes. She had such a strong personality and is super independent. I am very interested in what her personality with be like when she gets older. She has her fathers patience which if you know her father then you know what kind of patience that is ;) and she has her mothers fearlessness which i guess is payback for all the dangerous stuff I did as a kid! She is absolutely amazing and constantly entertaining. Welp that's all I have to say.......

Big yawn

Love her attitude while she's wearing Tom's hat

Same ol' same ol'

I know that I haven't posted in a while, but not much has happened that is post worthy. Life has been pretty similar. I feel like I do the same thing everyday. I wake up, feed Azlynn breakfast, play with her for a few hours (if it's nice we'll go on a walk), feed her lunch, put her down for a nap, get ready for work, go to work, get off work then work out for an hour, come home and go to sleep. See how boring....... I love it though because it is a pretty easy going life. I've been loosing weight and I've been so proud of myself. If only it was in by butt and thighs where I really need it, but it hasn't reached that point yet ;) I just need to make sure I don't get pregnant anytime soon so I can keep the weight loss momentum up! I'm still in need of a vacation soon. It has been way too long since I've been on one. I hung out with my mom and my sister a couple weekends ago and it was so much fun. It has been years since we've done it and I totally miss it. I will make sure that we do it more often now because I need good women in my life and what better people is there than your family. The family is going to the new mall in SLC this weekend which will be a lot of fun! Well what's going on with Tom you ask..... Well Tom is doing the same ol' thing too. He has been doing awesome at his job and so far he likes it a lot. He picked up a side job driving trucks at night, but that job is extremely unpredictable when he will actually do it. He's still playing his video games from time to time. His family has been visiting a lot lately and Tom loves hanging with his brothers. He needs some testosterone in his life! And now for Azlynn..... What to say about this little terror! She is growing so fast. She sure jibber jabbers a lot in her own language. She will fake laugh at anything that is on TV. She can boogy with the best of them and she inherited my monkey gene. She is constant entertainment for me and I for her. She loves to be outside and will try her hardest to reach the doorknob to escape to the great outdoors. She can throw a trantrum with the best of them (not the funnest moments for us). She will lick anything she see's and will randomly bite you without warning (we are working on that one). She loves to take her clothes off and she loves to be chased. She is such a sweet girl and I couldn't imagine life without her!!

My baby girl is now a toddler!!

Who decided this would happen so fast!! Azlynn is now a 1 year old! Geeze I still can't believe it. I love this little girl so much. She has grown up so much in the past year. She is now walking all over the place, she loves opening and closing doors (no smashed fingers yet), she is a chatter box in her own language, she has discovered the toilet paper roll (uh oh), and she started to point at things. I am excited for what this next year is going to bring. Now as for the rest of us, not much is new. We still have only 1 car, but we are adjusting to it slowly. Sometimes we forget to appreciate things until they are gone. Some friendships have been mended while others have fallen apart. We found out that we are going to have a nephew in June! My very first nephew!!  All in all things are pretty good. Life just gets so busy sometimes and I wish time would slow down a little. I am hoping to go in a vacation this year. I haven't been on any big vacations since I was first got pregnant with Azlynn so I am definitely in need of one. Well like usual I have a bunch of pictures of azzie bear.

2012 so far.....

Well 2012 has not come quietly in the Nicholas family!! One of the main inconveniences was that Tom was in an accident and totaled our Kia! This mainly sucks because I hate car shopping so much and I feel like we have done it a lot lately, but on the bright side we can get a really cheap car and lower our debt just a little bit more. Speaking of debt, Tom will be starting his second job soon so that we can pay off most of our debt! This will be such a relief when he starts and we are estimating to have most of our debt payed off in 6 months woop woop!! It will be so nice not to have to worry about that anymore and then with baby #2 (no I'm not pregnant) I can stay home. Also Tom's sister has moved in with us and it has been so much fun. It's nice to have someone to back me up when Tom is being a brat (hee hee) and she is someone to hang out with when Tom is playing video games!! I also feel like I have an extra set of hand when it comes to my wild child :)  Azlynn is now walking and she is perfecting it a little more every day. She still falls and walks like she's drunk, but she has the concept. She just needs to build some confidence in this new skill of hers. This little girl will be turning 1 in four weeks WOW! Time truly does fly buy. I need to really start planning birthday!! Her turning 1 also means she will be off formula which will be amazing!! This little girl loves food! She has to eat everything that I am eating haha. She is getting her 4 top front teeth and once those come in then she will be able to eat a lot more variety of food, but as of now she only eats stuff that dissolves quickly or really tiny bits of what I'm eating. She is the funniest little girl and she is starting to look like a toddler now and no longer like my little baby. Here is a video of her walking:
